The past months have demanded a lot from our flexibility. Working from home, taking care of children, video calling, adjusting lifestyle, we’ve seen all kinds of changes come our way. At BDF / Inqubator we also had to adapt. All business trips have been canceled, pilot tests have been postponed, training has been rescheduled and many face-to-face activities have been replaced by a digital solution. BDF has worked from home as much as possible and fortunately, thanks to EMRO, our IT setup has been set up like this.

The people of BDF are perfectly capable of appropriating the new lifestyle. And actually a lot of things went on after a short adjustment period. Although it was and is a strange period, there was also cause for celebration. A new project, Cafe Europe, has been written by us and approved by the agency. We enjoy working with local and international partners on social integration and the development of entrepreneurial skills of (immigrant and native) young people.

Our beautiful office building De Kanselarij was already very empty but is slowly starting to come back to life. We hope that everyone has a nice summer and can enjoy their holiday. BDF hopes to make business trips again after the summer holidays to see all our partners in real life. Fingers crossed and stay safe!
