I-STEP is short for International Student Entrepreneurship Programme. Through I-STEP, the students enrolled in entrepreneurship programmes will, while setting up their (virtual) business also learn how international business works, practice their language skills, learn about culture, export etc. as they go.
On behalf of the Lithuanian VET college KSPMC, BDF successfully applied for the Erasmus+ Strategic partnership.BDF took the initiative to develop this strategic partnership targeting VET schools in Europe with an existing entrepreneurship education programme for their students. We will help them to add an international component to their programme by having them work together with schools in other countries.
For teachers we will develop the tools they need in and outside the class room to support the students. We will also set up an online cooperation platform for the students and teachers to work with their counterparts in other countries. During the project, BDF will support KSPMC in leading the project by taking on the role of project coordinator. YouthNest.crea will be thé international incubator for creative entrepreneurship in European rural areas. Youthnest aims to develop a virtual as well as an on-site ecosystem of support, advice, encouragement, training, stimulation and opportunities to shape innovative ideas for the empowerment of young people in their professional development. The project will also foster an entrepreneurial culture leading to self-employment opportunities with a focus on entrepreneurship within the creative sector in rural areas of the EU.
SUMIGRE aims to provide adult educators of immigrants with support for professional development. The most important outcome of the project, is educators who can understand, respect, and work successfully with migrants. Thus, the integration of the migrants will be improved by educators who are well equipped in order to gain trust, build connections and guarantee a non-discriminative learning environment.
